So, i'm coming up to getting coilovers in the next 1-4 months. car has plenty of mods rear and front
adjustable toe arms
hr rear sway
rss adjustble end links
vogtland springs 1.2"
chassis sifftening (frunk and trunk)
However, with almost 110K miles on the stock shocks, i am thinking about getting them replaced with coilovers.
My list goes below, but i do want to stay in the 1000-1300 range. I need to get new ties, and i assume an alignment is needed again.
BC coilovers
megan racing
biltstein (low bc of cost)
wheel spacers
What is your input? have you used any of the three brands. Ease of installation? I'm not a heavy track user, but i love a few spirited rides with turns.
The adjustable links are godspeed,, the end links are RSS, sway bar is H&R. I was cautious with the adjustables, but the porsche dealership had no issue adjusting them with my alignment. Also, those things feel like the RSS end links. Super solid.
Sorry, no you can't. Maybe Cayman R suspension, but i'm not sure how hard that is to find. My real point is to clarify your goals. You really don't need a lot of aftermarket parts to have fun on the streets. They'll often just make it loud and ride like crap for no real benefit.
I just raced my bone stock (x73) car at a SCCA Time Trial National Tour event and came in 12th overall. Car does good.
yeah, i won't be racing it anytime soon. I would need to learn how to race properly. I do enjoy tinkering with it, the fabspeed exhaust was a lovely sound addition. THe goal is to replace the stock shocks/springs. almost 110k miles on the stock ones. They need to be replaced.
You might want to try the Cayman R suspension as txbdan suggested or Bilstein. For an 08, you may need to use the top hats from your suspension or a replacement. Bilstein would be my next recommendation. I have 2 friends with both setups and they really enjoy their rides on the street.

Thanks Jesse, nice choices! Those toe links look very solid and are priced a bit better than most of the machined ones.
