Top "flapping" when lowered at highway speed - 05 Boxster S
Greetings -
While taking a drive this week, my wife noticed that the top material, when in the lowered position at highway speed, is moving and "flapping" around a bit.
I have only had the car since September and honestly haven't paid attention to if it's been doing it since I got it.
Just curious if it's "normal" or not? Material is not loose and is nice and tight on the frame, presume air is just getting under it at higher speeds.
I've attached a really bad video - ignore the noise, it's just wind and is not the top making noise.
Thoughts???

- Something is loose. There are various straps and elastics and belts that are used to keep things from flopping around, one of yours is not doing it's job.
- Lack of response - possibly because you put a download link to a WMV file instead of uploading a video MP3 to YouTube and using their embedding link - which puts the video in the message right here. The problem with how you did it is - it could be a virus. It requires the user to download a potentially infected file to their computer, then go find it, and play it, then delete it. I won't do that, nor would I expect anyone else to.
As far as the loose bit - I'd compare sides with the top partially down (or up) and see if all the bits look to be in the same relative position on both sides. If they aren't - find out why.

Could be the dreaded IMS. I kid. Put the top half way down and check everything. Mines rock solid at 120 down.
