Howdy - 1 week into my first 981 Boxster.
2013 with 11k original miles. Today is the first chance I have had to REALLY get underneath the car and poke around a ton.
Seems to be a fair amount of stones/dirt under (and inside of) and collected on the top of the rear lateral rods.
How easy are these guys to replace?
Also, noticed some minimal rust at the jack points - like it has been jacked there without protection multiple times. The car has been serviced extensively (1 oil change per year at an independent Porsche service location), hard to believe they wouldn’t have proper jack protection.
Nonetheless -
A - are the rear lateral rods easy to swap out? Seemingly inexpensive part.
B - Do I lightly sand and then spray the jack points?
Thanks
