I have my convertible top in service position presently. Looking at all of the linkages, etc in there... is there any requirement or recommendation to lubricate anything? I've noticed nothing in the owners manual nor alldatadiy.com.

I've found nothing when searching for the same info. It seems to be ignored as a service item. The factory 987.2 manual doesn't talk about it that I could find. I'll have to search the 987.1 manual..

I have lubricated the ball couplings, and a few of the major pivot points using spray lithium grease. Not sure if it does anything or not. Wipe off any excess since you don't want exposed grease around that might get on the top fabric, or collect dirt...
