Default Dropped Air Pod in Dash Defrost Vent - ‘05 Boxster

Hi all,

I set my AirPods on the dash today not really realizing how large the opening is. When I went to pick them up, one of them went right through and down into the plenum / ductwork.

1) how hard is it to remove the plenum?
2) any DIY / images?
3) anyone have similar experience with dropping something in there and how did you get it out?

I imagine new Air Pods are cheaper than paying someone to rip it apart...

Thanks

Hey

i recon getting an AirPod size magnet and testing on the remaining one , then tie off a string or stiffish wire to create a probe or fishing wire you might get lucky, if you’ve driven the car it may have moved out of reach tho ....
