Default Service in Germany (bonus Christstollen)

So I have my US spec 981 Cayman GTS in Germany and I took it in for the 4 year service (spark plugs and all). This was the first service here since I had my transmission (3rd gear) failure and replacement.

Couple of interesting things from the German dealership. In Germany, they do oil changes every 2 years. They said it is unheard of for anyone to bring in their car before 2 years unless there is heavy track use. They have no clue why the it would be different in the US and the service manager thought it was crazy.

And they gave me a butter cake for Christmas. It even has a part number.

Default 2 year oil change

I confess I cringe environmentally when I change 1-2k mile synthetic (name your poison) before winter bedtime....
