Breather line Crankcase housing hose sweating/oily!?

I noticed the same evidence of weeping on my lines when doing the AOS in my 06 BS.
The flexible portion that inevitably seems to split with age is separate to the ends of the line with clip/retainer. I replaced those pieces with (I think) 5/8" rubber breather lines. I was able to reuse the original and undamaged connector pieces. I'll have a look tonight and get a photo of what the line is. They've been on the engine for over 3000 miles now.

That's probably a good idea. It I hadn't already ordered the new hoses I would try that.
