After a fantastic day and half at the recent Niagara HPDE my HP PS line decided to let go, ending my running at a really great event on Thursday morning. Does replacing the line require removal of the fuel tank? For those of you that have been down this road what should I look for and how long should the job take
I assume its a failure to the excessive high heat on Wednesday when we were on track for 30+ minutes per hour, and did well over 300 miles on track. I guess having changed the UDP and having a PS Cooler is not enough![](https://caymanregister.org/images/smilies/cr_smilies/frown.png)
Thanks in advance

Stunned that the hardline failed. That is really odd unless there was some other damage to it.
I think I removed and replaced every single component in my car, but not the PS hardline, so no idea about the fuel tank. But I would certainly be looking hard at root cause of the failure, highly unlikely that it was pressure/tempature.
best of luck
