Hey guys, so I was trying to do a simple task of changing my license plate bulbs since one went out, and I accidentally pushed the housing through and its somewhere in the rear bumper. How can I get this out? Thanks!
Well, I tried sticking as many fingers as I could in there and feel around, couldn't feel the housing or any cables/harnesses. I thought it heard it bounce around a couple times, I'm not sure removing the tail lights will give me enough room to stick my hand in there. Is removing the bumper as a whole my only option?
How about modifying a coat hanger to at least hook it or the cable harness to bring it back to the opening?
I gotta think it shouldn't require a bumper off..
Thanks! I removed the other light and grabbed the light that went inside the bumper by pulling the harness, then I "passed" it to the opening. The hardest part was just getting it through the hole, definitely took some force
