On the price they are what dealers listed. I'm not sure how much room they have in them and if they will deal. I'll find that out as the week goes on. One is at value according to online tools and the 981 is about 5k over. The guy with the R is not budging at 64k
better/newer/significantly less mileage car with similar price, easy decision.
Drove the 981 today. Wow, nice car, full leather interior and well optioned. Drove nice, sounded great. Dealer willing to drive the car to ppi shop of my choice. Probably ask Drivers Choice if I choose this car. pretty stuck on the price, did not want to move at all.
New contender. Now I have to decide between MT and PDK. I drove pdk for the first time today and I liked it, best auto I have ever driven from my short test drive. But I can love a MT
2016 with less than 9K miles but 5 grand more than the others before negotiations

Have 18 way in my 991 and they are incredible. Especially for long trips.

The manual will hold better value and be more fun, but PDK isn't a bad alternative

I'd go 4way if it's comfortable enough for you. 18way adds a lot weight

981 def go MT, as it's not a fast car and no real need for PDK to boost performance. MT provides less weight and more fun which I think is also reflected in the price.
I went through the very same dilemma 3 weeks ago and ended up going with the 981, simply because the engine makes the car feel like a sports car and not a Subaru. There's nothing wrong with Subaru's, but I already have one and wasn't planning on dumping $60K on another vehicle that sounded like a Subaru, even though on paper the 718 beats the 981.

I have the base sport GTS seats. They are perfect for me, even better than the 18 way seats that sort of rub on my shoulders in the back. 14 way seats are plain horrible. If you are 200 pounds or more, your likely choice is 18 way or base seats.

I had the base seats in my 981 base Cayman and now I have the 18 ways in my GT4. My wife has the mid-range seats...like the 14 way or 12 way or something in her 981 Boxster. Anyway...I was always able to get very comfortable in the base seats in the Cayman. No issues. Are the 18 ways nicer?? Well...yeah. But on the priority list of items I would put down to decide to buy a car, for me, that would be pretty far down that list. Both seat types are really good.
