Default #4 Misfire

I have 2014 Cayman S with 35k on it. I got the Christmas tree of warning lights " Engine Fault, PSM Auto start" and would run rough clearly a miss. Ran so rough I thought I lost a bank but a scan with my iCarsoft showed #4 was the culprit. Bought a Coil pack from the dealer and a set of plugs from Rock Auto.
Number 4 is tight. My hands barley fit past the Cat's and for me the hardest part is getting the connection clip to release. It always takes 5 minutes of wrestling. I see videos and people seems to just breeze their hand over them and they go "click"... not me. I did duct tape my extension to the spark pluck socket and then to the swivel so they wouldn't come apart in the plug socket. Had that happen on a M3 years ago and you never want to do that again. I'll replace the plugs on the other bank another day. They seem much easier to get to then 4-5-6. I hope this helps the next to get this error.

Did the coil pack show any cracking?

Coil looked good. I was actually surprised how well everything looked in that area. I would have expected road crime.

FWIW a failed coil I had only had a tiny microcrack that looked similar to the normal lines from the mold they use to make the plastic. So it could have been damaged but not obvious.
