Default Key issue

I have a 2012 Cayman and the button on the key to lock and unlock the doors popped off and is gone. Anyone know if I can get a replacement button without having to spend $2-300 bucks on a replacement? I unfortunately didn’t know where it popped off at to snap back in.

If all you're replacing is the button, you can get
aftermarket key fobs from Amazon aftermarket key fobs from Amazon
. If you ever end up wanting to get a new OEM key, you can get it from Suncoast and just replace the internals.

Do you know if you can just snap the button half onto the original key within changing internals?

Thanks. Hate to break the original key when all I need is new buttons. I knew there would be some knowledgeable people on this forum.

Just to clarify, I didn't break mine, I just split it open since it snaps together. I know that pic looks like total carnage, but it was totally understand control.
