Default Cayman Golfing

Just an FYI for anyone who enjoys golf. If alone my clubs will join me up front in the passenger seat. If picking up a friend, the clubs are removed from the bag, bag is laid sideways in the rear trunk (as shown), and clubs are then laid on the parcel shelf. takes an extra 2 minutes, but actually works quite well. Passenger then gets to hug his clubs all the way to the course : )

I can actually get my entire stand bag WITH clubs on the parcel shelf—sans driver, it goes down below. The bag goes in diagonally with the club heads right behind the driver's head and the foot of the bag down by the oil filler cap. It's a tight fit because of the rear glass closes snug against the foot of the bag so you really have to check the bag before trying it. Most of the time I too drive with them in the passenger seat because it's just so much easier to get them in and out.

But in a pinch you could probably get two stand bags in a Cayman trunk. One like you have it and one like I put mine in. It would be tight though.

This looks like a Players 4 bag is that right? I’m trying to find a bag that will fit horizontally in the rear of my 981 like you’ve shown (looks like a 981 in your picture).

If that is a Players 4, would the clubs fit under the bag?

Haha I brought my bag and clubs to the dealer to check fit before I bought my 987 Cayman S. Could fit a stand bag in left to right, just had to take out the woods and lay them on top!

Recommend being careful with golf clubs or anything that size in a 987 because they can scuff and scratch off your interior trim soft touch paint. Ask me how I know......
