I also installed Pedro's bar. So far, I like it. Seems to "unitize" the rear of the car a bit more, for lack of a better term.

Brilliant write up, Ian. I was not aware of the nylon filler pieces. What’s your opinion as to their function?

to be honest I'd imagine they do very little, but I guess knowing Porsche they'd not fit them if they didn't have some kind of purpose...

First I had hard of the nylon inserts, thanks for posting about these. Write up will definitely help others step through this process, nice job.

I still need to source the US Drivers side brace, I may need to hit up my local Porsche dealer so I can easily return them if Porsche hasn’t fixed their issues.
