Default DIY add a OEM looking dash clock

I decided to add a factory looking dash clock to my Cayman S. Scary thought to cut the dash but it came out amazing. Found a stock chronograph/clock housing on eBay for $150.00. Ordered a custom clock gage to match the factory gages from Speedhut and went for it. Came out great and well worth the risk! let me know if you have any questions about this install.

Well done...but my Sport Chrono doesn't have a ...clock. Not sure I would have added a wart on my dash when my PCM and gauge cluster have digital clocks. But like I said at the start, well done and looks pretty neat.

Nice installation. Out of curiosity, why did you put a clock in there and not an oil pressure gauge?

Good job, but that doesn't look OEM. And even less to Porsche owners. Close to OEM would be the most optimistic wording I'd use. But I'd say you have the biggest ***** on this forum for attempting that mod.

I never thought of it as a wart. I actually like the look.

The face color matches the OD/Tach color perfectly and that is what mattered to me. I am a Porsche owner x2.

Well it does look like wart but I think it looks sharp and who cares if it's just a clock. With the Porsche logo, it looks OEM too me.
