Default Nice Cayman R someone's buying PTS RS orange

I've never seen a PTS RS orange Cayman R before. Hopefully an RLer is getting it so it finds a nice home.

I saw that earlier. Impressive color. I was equally impressed with the asking price. Amazed it moved so quickly. I should have bought a smurf blue one so mine would be sold by now.

Sorry, but you still haven't seen an 'RS Orange' Cayman R! They phased out* 'RS Orange' before MY2012, when this Cayman R was built. The color of this car is 'Pastellorange', color code Z17. Personally, I find it quite striking. I still hold that the best 'option' investment one can make on any Porsche sport car is Paint-to-Sample! This quick re-sale on this PTS Cayman R helps prove my point!

We have talked about this car previously in this forum.

PS The last year 'RS Orange' was used as PTS was MY2010. In MY2011, PAG discontinued 'RS Orange' and promoted 'Pastell Orange'. Recently, they have approved 'Gulf Orange' (color code 019) too!

Eduardo thanks for the clarification. I agree great color and something that can be completely unique. I'm looking forward to seeing Gulf Orange.

Best

Bummer, sorry to hear you missed out by a handful of minutes.

Perhaps we may have a chance getting a GT4 in Gulf Orange to offset the missed opportunity.

in 1975 looking to purchase a BMW 2002, I was choosing between Pastel Blue and Competition Orange. I chickened out and bought the blue. Someone a few towns away is still enjoying it.

Hey guys, I'm selling my Cayman R if anyone is interested. A little more of a main stream color when compared to Pastel Orange lol
