Heater bypass tube?
After the wales run last weekend was convinced into buying cup/rs heater tube.
Ive read the guides ect; fitting looks easy, but the wiring bypass is confusing my pea brain.
Is there a simples (meaga simple) way?
Not all the guides mention the wireing bypass?

Yup I'd like to know that too, there are a couple of good threads with the info buried in them but I find I've gone cross eyed by the time it gets to the "this is how you do it" bit. I'd guess there's a simple method.

There is a simple wire jumper method but this still leaves a current apparently. You can buy all of the gear from ebay then give it to someone who knows electrics...cheeksyboy may pipe [pun] up at some point, he did his own i think...

I dont know about the factory plastic ones but the carbon are an absolute pig to try and get them to fit both ends, ane if your rubber shroud on top of the fan is at all perished it will tear it apart with the stress

Rubber on the top is split, theres allways sumthing.
Need to order another from porsche, anyone got the part number?
And the wires that you can see in the pic i dont need them any more, wot about the resister thingy (looks like a spring).
And i need to pull a relay, its behind that plastic cover?
There odd things that hold the cover on!
Do they screw out with sum pliers?

£30.00 in the UK, plus vat
All of the suppliers plus your OPC will sell them for about the same
Mine did exacty that when I fitted it
The screw on the fusebox come off with a flat bladed screwdriver or a 10mm? socket
you can remove the resistor and tape the wires up
