Instinctive reaction to "any" dealer-sourced option should be to question the usefulness and the price. As everyone noted, they are always marked up many times. And, often, downright questionable in value.

My last dealership experience was with the corporate own BMW dealership here in manhattan and they were uber professional and really above board in every way unlike any car dealer I've ever dealt with.

Jean the decision on who you have do paint prep and coatings is all about professional detail shop. In my area I found none and the best one is 100 miles away. Don't settle for a crappy shop. I am having them drive down paying them mileage and a night at hotel because they are that good.

Good news, the shop across the street actually is the dealer's goto shop which is why I see all the nice cars there and the guy just so happens to live in my building. The yelp reviews are basically positive except only for one which had to do with a stereo install that was understandably complicated. So I'll be talking to him tomorrow about estimates and such.

My car got to my dealer over the weekend. The tracking report plan was for a December 25th arrival... I will get it on Friday and post pictures ! It is GT Silver with Classic interior, LWBS and black wheels.

Congratulations! I had identical specs, then I second guessed on my wheels. Reverted back to standard silver today, and when Porsche accepted, my status also moved to V210. Locked down now. Hope your pics don't make me regret!

I am dying...my car came into port (Florida) and it was loaded onto a truck last week. I am getting the car at Champion. Its not in yet...what is taking so long!?!?!
