I think PCNA sent that spec to dealers all over the US. Even our little dealer got one, and it's rare for PCNA to send them anything with that many options.

wrong again. MSRP is the same, but interior is black, not red.

Really wish I had gotten one with Sports Chrono, but, I can live with it.

Bad idea to ask others what are "must haves". Their answers are going to be all over the place and what some think are "must haves" others could care less about. The high end stereo comes to mind to me...I could care less about music in a sports car.

Completely understand you opinion, Jim. But, this is a discussion forum after all and for the most part is a group people sharing their views on just about everything.

As I was going through the process of deciding what I wanted, the idea of turning to others that actualy had experienced the car seemed appropriate.

Still does...

There's always the possibility that you'll find out about an option you'd never heard of.

What dealer are you going through, Lewis? Richard Jennings at Hennessy was great to work with. Amazing, really, given the 2200 miles and 3 time zone difference.

Very nice car. You'll miss the power of the GT3 though. I had a Boxster S for 5 days last week. Good looking car, refined, but missed the power of the GT3. Thought about trading my Cayman R in for it, but then came to my senses. I already have a cab in my C4S... Convertible will be nice to drive around in though. Congrats!

Definitely an interim step for me. Really caught between the intoxication of the GT3 and the drive-ability of everyday Porsche's. This is simply the first step towards getting a dedicated track car - just don't know which one yet

...and I already miss my GT3!

If you get red interior, I'd get the deviating top dash, center council, and top door strips, and steering wheel in black. I really like the red interior--but I think the two tone interiors are the best! I've thought about a red interior on my next car and I'd have to do it that way.

While I agree with this, a note of caution is in order: the car will still have portions of the dash (the part closest to the windshield with defroster vents, etc.) in red unless you address this. Not as bad as in the attached photo, but still...
