Wouldn't be my choice of color but the new 981 is a truly beautiful car for sure.

The 981 has beautiful lines. This shot was from the winding road article that my good friend sent me. If you have time read the review.

It's simply a matter of personal taste. Some prefer the 911, others prefer the Boxster. There's no right or wrong, they are both incredible cars and anyone who says otherwise is simply providing their opinion. Remember that someone buying a $80k Boxster could have just as easily bought a 911 if they wanted, granted it might be a year or two old but still new and still well within reach.

Personally I would love to have both, 911 C4S Targa for a daily driver and a Boxster Spyder for weekend top down toy/fun car.

Carcam and I appear to be fellow Porsche enthusiasts and would likely both agree with you that it's simply a matter of personal taste, with no right or wrong. Many of us have had more than one Porsche model, and of all the ones I've owned, I've enjoyed them all. In fact, I'm looking forward to my next one, which will be a 911 about a year or two from now.

Hard to say no to Riviera Blue! But I prefer Mexico if I had the choice. Slightly darker.

I like that color blue, the painted roll hoops look particularly nice in that color and the black wheels tie it all together.

PS If any of you BB members have used a really good wheel cleaner for the black units I'd like to know what it was, they look killer clean but it's a bit of a chore to keep them that way.
