The October issue of Excellence magazine has yet another laudatory review of the 981S. Two points that stood out for me: 1 The reviewer believes that the 981S handles nearly as well as the 987 Spyder, and 2 Good technical discussion of the new 981 steering system. Regarding point 2, there's an explanation as to why Porsche abandoned the hydraullic pump for the electric motor.
