Last weekend we drove from Boston to DC and back and I encountered more 981's during the trip than I did 991's. Looking at sales figures, the 991 sales are flat against last year which makes me think that everyone is waiting for a specific 991 model or they are just not willing to buy them.

Just drove both- disregard my earlier comments. The S was significantly more fun to drive to due the extra 50 HP.

Quick clarifier: Barber Motorsports Park in AL is unrelated to 'Skip Barber' -- it was built by a guy who made his fortune in dairy named George Barber. Serious car and motorcycle nut and serious perfectionist -- as I understand he had the track torn up and resurfaced twice while building it because he wasn't happy with how it came out at first.
