Yep. I agree. Stunning. But then again, that combo looks good on any car. I've never owned one but come close. There's something very aesthetic about the GT silver over the red. Its also the higher quality natural leather, so all in all a step up from the base.

staying tuned

have you considered a 986 forum, a 987 forum (or maybe gen 1 and gen 2 split) and a 981 forum?

seems like the 987 and Cayman S forums have a lot of duplication (dilution?) merging them wouldn't hurt (might even strengthen forum content)

or am I missing something?

and yes, the new car does look great!

Stay tuned.

Btw the new car looks great, and I have to admit that I like it more than the 991.

So we sold our 2006 Boxster this week and sold FAST .. and now contemplating ordering a 2013 Boxster.. Im told the dealers are on Allocation.. I think the dealer I buy from already sold 80% of his allocated spots..

this is what my wife and I put together..

Infotainment Package with BOSE® $5,210 Surround Sound System
Convenience Package $1,340
Convertible Top Brown $0
Anthracite Brown Metallic $820
Leather interior package in natural leather $4,450 Espresso
ParkAssist (rear) $610
Electrically folding exterior mirrors $370
Rear apron painted Exclusive $675
Automatically dimming interior and $790 exterior mirrors with integrated rain
sensor
Sports exhaust system Exclusive $3,230
20-inch Carrera S wheel $3,570
Wheels painted in exterior colour $1,630 Exclusive
Sports seats (2-way, manual) $0 Leather interior in natural leather

These prices are Canadian MSRP .. which is what I think Ill pay.. me no thinky Ill get any discount..

Anyone has notice any pricing advantage by combining Packages.. or existing incentives ?.. actually I think we can only reserve an allocation spot.. cant really order as the systems are not set. ?

thanks

nice build! maybe we should start a new thread for 981 builds

my dealer says they have already ordered customer spec 981s
but I don't know how many allocations they have
if they are going on sale in NA this June they better start building them soon

cheers,
Steve

probably

ive been looking at the silver car with red interior but two things concern me.
the red glare on the front windshield and if id get sick of looking a this:

http://files.porsche.com/filestore.a...rmal&version=2

Also one of the models has a neat two tone interior and i dont see that as an option.

finally i wish they had the bucket seats that come in the spyder!!

Finally a boxster that I could see myself driving! I really like the new design. I can't wait to see the new Cayman as well. Any idea when those pictures will be released?
