Default 981 Base: Adding PSE without console switch?

Is it possible to order the PSE without the console switch electronics, for installing it permanently enabled?

If so, does anyone have a list of the part numbers required?

Also, my 981 Base has the single black exhaust tip, can I use it with the kit?

Yes. If you just get PSE it is default open. No need for electronics, don’t need to connect vacuum lines. If you want for 300 bucks you can get a Soul valve controller and install. No cutting of vacuum lines or electric ( just use fuse connector). Then you can program your home link to close and open valves. There are also cheaper valve controllers on eBay.

your single exhaust will work, but the dual looks nicer.

Thank you both very much for the info.

I found this 981 exhaust for sale locally, can anyone tell what model it is from the pictures? The seller thought it was PSE but it doesn't match the pictures I've seen.

Definitely aftermarket and not PSE. I don't recognize it, but someone will chime in with the maker. Borla looks similar but has 'Borla' embossed on both mufflers.

From reading this forum. Most aftermarket exhausts have more drone than stock or PSE. FYI.

Thanks, yes I'm going to skip that one. It's on Facebook in Arizona for $150 though if anyone wants it.

Is there a cheaper way to buy the PSE without any electronics? I could always add the cheap valve control later if I want, but I only drive my 981 for fun so it's not really necessary.

Have you looked into the Carnewal exhaust modification?

Wow, that is very helpful. I've reached out to Carnewal about placing an order.
