Default Passenger side kick well cargo net replace / repair

Did a forum search but no dice so asking...

The small cargo net on the left of the interior passenger side of my 981CS is sagging and frayed. Yeah, cosmetic only but driving me crazy looking at it....kinda like that new rock chip on an otherwise perfect shiny hood.

Typical Porsche nonsense the OEM replacement for this tiny, cheaply made plastic item is $235.00. Passenger Cargo Net

Short of just removing it, any ideas on a less expensive option or an easy way to replace the bungee netting?

I'd think that by the time you found an upholsterer or fabricator willing to create a decent replacement, you'll be in deeper than $235 worth of funds, lost time and aggravation. If it has utility, sometimes it just make sense to pay the "Porsche tax," replace it and move on.
