I just bought a 2015 981 GTS with 33k miles. The convertible top has quite a bit of wrinkling from normal operation. Has anyone found
ways to get them out using something like steam, or just cleaning/wetting the fabric top and letting it dry in the hot sun? Note, this picture
is of my previous 987.

I would wash with a convertible top cleaner and let it thoroughly dry. Drying it in the "hot sun" is an option but whether it fades the top or not is debatable. After its dry use a lint roller to remove any bits and pieces. I used several brands of convertible top protectant but plan on using the Porsche brand spray on next time. You need to blue tape around the top and do outside. The fumes are very strong.
