I have them, the quality is solid, I have heavily tracked them for over two seasons. I ran them on my 987.1 and now a set on my 981. They do have a mini cat in a tube leading to the downstream O2 sensor that's supposed to defeat the check engine light, it's not effective and I cut mine out for better flow. I use Garage Daddy 90 degree 02 spacers and have no check engine light.
I assume I need two 90 degrees spacers? Please confirm
Question about spacers. I have a 718 Spyder with Kline 200 cel catted headers. I occasionally get a CEL and am thinking of adding spacers. Not sure the difference between the L and straight spacers and which would work best. Would love any insights. I currently have just been clearing the CEL when it pops up. That can be once a month or once a week--just whenever it feels like it.
What are the exact codes you get when the CEL appears?
like the title says, anyone fixed this?
I have the catted top gear headers on, initially no codes after installing. After about two months I started getting this code sporadically and now it’s every time I start the car. No o2 spacers on the car either. I never got a CEL before on the car either.
The shop tells me that the cat could be failing. Which is unfortunate since I had the headers on the car for less than a year and I never track it and it’s street driving only.
P0421 is post cat code, very common CEL on aftermarket headers with lower cell cats (for more flow) or de-cat headers but no effect on car's performance. O2 spacers are hit and miss.

That’s what I was thinking but there were no codes initially for a good two month period of solid driving. What’s causing this to come out of the blue?

I didn't say a tune, I said "a tune that disables that". Some tunes can and some can't
Cobb Stage 2 v200 for example will disable the codes
I own the Cobb access port and I do have v2 maps. That map puts the sensor at “stand by” which will not allow me to pass emissions . I think it’s more likely with luck that my car would pass emissions in current state if the code does not trip up. Standby mode as explained above by some other guys only prevents the sensor from taking a reading which will come up on emissions test as error.
