Can anyone help with these fault codes?
Cayman 981 2016. Rough idle. Occasionally throws up a check engine light. Definitely an intermiitent problem.
Codes P1381, P0306, P0304, P0305, P0300 on my Durametric.
I suspect it's the VVT actuator (sometimes known as camshaft solenoid valve). Going to replace coils as it's done 52k miles now. Spark plugs replaced last year by dealer. My question is, which actuator side do I replace? Bank 1 or 2?
Thanks

How old is the battery? These cars are VERY sensitive to that, and can throw all sorts of codes just because of that.
Assuming it's the original one in there, I'd say replace that first. IMO, anything older than 5 years or if it's ever been dead, just replace it. Newer than that and you may be ok, but it still deserves a deeper look.

I've decided just to replace both actuators. Problem solved!
