Firstly, the Mr12Volt system is only one of its kind in the marketplace. Unlike all others the feed audio through the aux channel, degrading the audio, the Mr12Volt system is ran through the factory MOST25 bus, the fiber optic audio channel that's standard in our cars. Through the MOST25 bus the system provides DAP (Digital Audio Processing) the maintain your vehicles clear and superior audio quality while offering to upgrade the factory PCM with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto capability. Additionally you will maintain any camera systems currently in your vehicle while allowing for future upgrades as this new hardware permits cameras in the front, rear, and side.

Roman... thanks so much for the fast shipping over Christmas and the excellent support when I was installing the unit on my 2016 Cayman. Whole install took me about 3 hours - and most of the time was figuring out where to hide harness and control unit. Very little space in the car.
My PCM 3.1 stepped into this century!!! :-) I also installed a reverse camera I had laying around in the garage. It all works.
For anyone interested, see pics attached. If you have questions feel free to ask. I did need some help and Roman responded immediately - actually called me to make sure I was doing it right. That service alone is priceless to me.
The modern PCM 3.1. Spotify. view of my garage door. Camera activates with reverse gear and lines move with steering. All I had to do is find power and ground for the camera. It is a cheapo from Amazon I had laying around. Nakita is the brand. Where I tucked in the wiring and control unit - driver side front of center console, under dashboard.
I may be interested in this.. my stock 3.1 unit has been acting up a bit (its like the radio stops working. I can't switch it to a different AM/FM/SAT band and the screen just shows the last band that was selected.and there is no audio. the map still works) My guess is the internal drive for the jukebox is starting to go out causing the unit to hang up.
Does this unit use any of the internal hard drive?
Hi Saabin... this just adds another source (TV) to the PCM 3.1 and you select it with the source button on PCM 3.1, just like selecting AM, FM, SAT, CD or any other source avail in your car. You need to install a separate board inside the PCM which adds the TV source. If you are having trouble selecting sources this is not going to help fix that. I do have it set up to start with the carplay so I don't need to switch to TV source every time I start the car, if that helps. I suggest you contact Roman at his email or phone. Cheers.
