Default 981 Muffler modification

With so many options for improved sound but with the compromise of increased drone, I wanted to try to find a way to keep the drone-free sound of the stock mufflers and add the ability to increase the volume at the push of a button. So I modded a stock muffler (non-PSE) to include a bypass valve prior to the muffler - kind of a hybrid of stock/PSE/straight pipe. I ordered the bypass valves, exhaust pipe, and remote control from Alibaba and several weeks later I had what I needed for my project. I had my local muffler shop weld up the parts and I installed myself. All changes are reversible (I had an additional muffler and kept original mufflers unmodified) and all I can say is WOW. This option is perfect for me - off for around town and open for the track. The volume in open position is crazy and can never run in that mode around town but sounds great above 4000rpm.

Just wanted to throw out another muffler option.

No video but in-car audio clip of mild vs. wild - can't figure out how to post it! Can mod an exhaust but can't post an audio file
