Yes, AGM is Lead-Acid. a "Flooded" or "Wet" battery is Lead-Acid. These are different from the Lithium batteries that Antigravity Batteries sells.

I replaced my original 70AH Banner battery about three years ago in my 2014CS with a 92AH Bosch battery. I bought it at Pepboys on sale and additional discounts for $128. I used my iCarSoft V2.0 to initialize it.

Have you noticed issues with Autel AP200 app crashing when trying to reset BMS? Mine crashes/exits out so I'm wondering if it's a common issue.

No, mine worked as advertised. I have an Android Phone (Pixel 5), I have heard (mid 2021) of some issue with Apple Phones. Which are you using?

Apple iPhone 12 mini. Not the first time I’ve heard that the iPhones may have issues with AP200. I was going to try to get my hands on an Android phone or tablet, but it’s been six months and my battery *knock on wood* has worked fine without registration.

In related news, the AP200 was able to reset the service light after an oil change. So I guess it’s just the battery registration that is not working and support doesn’t know a hole from an a** in the ground.

The manufacturing date is stamped right on the right post - on the top. I can see it in the picture earlier posted. Mine will be 7 years old this fall. I would say it is Month/Year

Looks like "39" and "14" on that stamp... I would say it's probably week/year?

7 years... you might want to replace it proactively... it's probably on borrowed time.

Just changed out my 8 year old original equipment battery with an Interstate AGM. Absolutely no problems. YMMV

The AP200 has been out a while now, I wonder if there is a firmware update, or update for the "Porsche" software on the App?

I changed mine to some Panasonic battery to replace my 6-year old battery from the factory.

Didn't even change to AGM battery ... hopefully all is good ... no idea what the CCA and CA ratings are (yikes)
