Personally I’m not a fan of the AGM batteries from Autozone. Idk if it’s just their version or if all automotive AGM batteries are short lived. It was replaced one time under the 3 year warranty and both died in under 2 years in a regularly driven vehicle. Made the mistake twice - would rather stick with lead/acid or LION (if budget permits).
FWIW I did buy an autozone H5 AGM for my GT4 less than 2 months ago, but that was before the other on noted above in my Land Cruiser died again. Given the knowledge I have now - would have just gotten the OE battery from the local VW dealer.
I picked the 70 Ah because my car already had a 70 Ah Banner as OEM, so I would not have to fiddle with any of the BMS settings afterwards. I rather suspect it would not have mattered, but I am kinda OCD about this. For my 991.2 I upgraded the battery to a 92 Ah when I swapped it out a few months ago, because I was planning to have the dealer reset the BMS at the next service visit anyway.
Last year, I replaced my battery with a reputable brand.
I did not "sync" my new battery to the car.
My new battery died within a year.
Got a replacement, put in in, and drove to PORSCHE to have it synced.
All good.
Some people have done fine with just replacing their battery.
May car did not do well without the "sync" or marriage to the "ECU''
Here's the one I put in my Boxster S about 10 months ago, an exact form/fit/function replacement in every dimension and electrical performance compared to the Banner OEM battery:
I did the swap myself, did not do any PIWIS "coding" or "adaptation" of the battery.
My Porsche service tech told me there is no need to do the software/ECU work unless the old battery has reached a very low health or state of charge condition such that you see error messages on the dash display from various computers around the car, or have other weird glitchy behavior that is common on 981/991 and newer cars when the battery health is severely degraded.
I would stay with an AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) battery. And any Size 48 ( H6) AGM battery will fit just like the OEM Porsche (Banner) battery.
Just recently replaced my OEM battery after 7 years of service. Stayed with the same size ( H6 ) as the original battery, actually used another Porsche (Banner) battery as I could get a very good price from my local dealer. Note the date stamp on the Negative Terminal (18 21), so the battery was manufactured the 18th week of 2021.
Coding in the new battery is very easy if your OBDII tool has that capability. My
unit is a good device as it will reset the Oil Change light, Service reminder light, Battery Service, Electric Parking Brake Adj/Calibration and a few more common DIY service functions.

Coding in the new battery is very easy if your OBDII tool has that capability. My Autel MaxiAP AP200 OBDII unit does. It took less than 5 minutes. New battery working perfect!
If you do your own Oil Changes, the Autel MaxiAp AP200 unit is a good device as it will reset the Oil Change light, Service reminder light, Battery Service, Electric Parking Brake Adj/Calibration and a few more common DIY service functions.
The "Battery Tracker" is from Antigravity Batteries, their "Lead-Acid" version.
It measures/monitors the Battery Voltage so you can "track" the health of your battery. It will show you when your battery starts to degrade and weaken, as the Starting Voltage will drop below a healthy level. Plus you can see how your battery recovers from use, such as popping the frunk.
Its useful, yet more off a "Fun to play with toy", rather than a "must have" set of information.
