Default X73 springs with PASM

Hello - I'm switching from 20" Carrera S wheels to 18" Titan 7 wheels and looking to lower the car slightly in connection with the change. I know the X73 suspension sits 10mm lower than the PASM suspension, and I know at least one user on Planet-9 is running X73 springs with PASM, but when I inquired with Suncoast they said that combo is not recommended. This may simply be a liability thing rather than a practical reason. I don't want to swap out for the full X73 suspension because I like the PASM adjustability. I know H&R has a lowering spring option but I think it's going to drop the car more than I would like.

So, has anyone used the X73 springs with PASM, or have any opinions on the setup?

I looked at this option but for a small incremental price increase you can get the bilstein damptronic coilover setup which gets you PASM, ride height adjustability, and stiffer springs. For anyone that tracks, a better option than expensive factory x73 springs on standard PASM shocks.
