It is definitely the reason I bought this car. The next event for me is in 3 weeks with the Audi club for 3 days at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch in Pahrump, NV.
Talk about "oh the humanity," my cars are put away in storage and I haven't seen them since December. I look outside and it's snowing.
We definitely don't get snow where I live. We're in a severe drought too, so I had to drive 800 miles up to Olympia, WA the weekend before last to enjoy a rainy track day (thank goodness the track added rental garages to their facility - the car won't melt but it sucks standing around in a rainy paddock).

Local C&C with 2 themes, speedsters and spyders. Several 981 spyders, with a Camaro sneaking in between my Mexico blue spyder and a friend's voo doo blue spyder. The white spyder belongs to another friend (and the car used to belong to a certain J. Seinfeld).
Lots of interesting speedsters including the originals, and a newer ones including a very nice narrow body euro 964 speedster which I prefer to the wide body cars... and perfect north Scottsdale weather!!
