I imagine this is state specific, but highly doubt a dealer would pay sales tax on what is essentially a wholesale purchase. This is one of the perks of being a dealer, at least in PA.

I doubt that the dealer pays sales tax, the person who purchases the car from the dealer certainly pays sales tax. And if I sold to an individual, they would have to pay sales tax during the registration process.

Sounds like something a low balling dealer might try to say when he's trying to buy your car. There's no way these dealers pay sales tax.

I am sure you are right. As I think about it more, it is a purchase for resale and probably just a Resale License needed.

Midrise lift sold by Toolots, 110v, pretty standard, but it lifts & lowers fast, is stable. Best decision ever.
