First off, thanks so much to all of you who took some time to take a photo and help me out. This will be very helpful when I try to do the letters tomorrow. It seems that the few mm differences are likely due to 1) camera positioning, lens effect and 2) resolution limitations when I go to make the measurement. The edges seem to be about 170 mm from the lid edge and the letters have a slight taper with the bottom of the lid (they don't follow the curvature exactly).

Can't wait to work on it tomorrow, I'll post pics! Hopefully others find this helpful in the future.

Looks great. Been meaning to delete my Cayman badge. But how's about some shots where we can see the wheels?

Nice. I couldn't tell what they were in the other pics. Thought they were something aftermarket.

Good job....Are you not going to put the "Cayman S" on?

I think it looks better with it.

Think I might try something like this soon...

I will definitely add the Cayman S, just wanted it to do it one step at a time in case I screwed it up lol. My guess is I'll buy the Cayman S emblem end of this month and apply it early Jan. I'll update, of course!

You should go for it, it does look great! I may do that a year or two down the road if I get bored of the stock look. I will also add GTS taillights this coming year to spice things up.

My Spyder had the Porsche badge delete when I got it, I like the way it looks without and find it funny how few people know what kind of car it is without PORSCHE written across the back!
