So uh, oil change (2-2.5k miles/yr) and Chevron Techron once a year, and I should be good? I do a Blackstone oil analysis with every oil change on my E46 M3 due to the rod bearings, but would an annual oil analysis be necessary for a 981?

I would still do used oil analysis on a 981 to keep track of fuel dilution as well as wear indicators for bore scoring. I just wouldn't use Blackstone.

You would just do double doses of Injector Defender and repeated use with the next few fill ups.

Porsche actually put out a bulletin back in the 80s on cleaning injectors.

Only change I would make to this is to use a fuel additive with PEA. Not all technron products have PEA, only the one that says complete fuel system cleaner or treatment (I don't specifically remember the marketing lingo).

I use SPEEDiagnostix for my UOA. Much better technology behind their test/analysis compared to Blackstone. I buy my SPEEDiagnostix kits typically from LN Engineering when they are 10% off.
