Numbers on Lime Gold 981's?
Curious, does anyone have any production numbers for the Lime Gold color Cayman/Boxster?
I've become enamored with the color - but they seem nigh impossible to find. However there's a base Cayman on AT but... not sure how happy I'd be with it ( I mean, it's very base - and my current car has items like Nav, heated/ventilated seats, etc )

Appreciate the feedback!

I saw one when it was new in person on a clear day. An older couple went to lunch in their new roadster, and didn't realize there was a PCA breakfast at the restaurant. It is definitely a love hate color. Someone commented that the color may look better at night with sunglasses.

I love that color, was going to order a Cayman GTS in it and the dealer pulled a very long face as did my wife. So I got a Sapphire Blue.
The listing you linked is gone, but I think I saw it earlier, didn't it have a lime gold interior? They didn't want to show it in the photos. That would have been a step too far.

If the upcharge was paid this would have been the matching color interior.
FYI we entered two car shows with it, first time it took second place, second time it took first place, they all said it was the color that did it.

Mine is a double. Lime Gold with Agate Grey Lime Gold interior full leather. It gets constant attention and everyone comments on how they love the colour. I have never had any negative feedback.

A Porsche dealership salesman told me once that as Porsches age, the ones with the unusual exterior paint color and unusual interior color hold their value better and eventually increase in value compared to the more main stream color combos. He actually looked nationwide to buy Porsches in uncommon color combos. This was Park Place Porsche in Dallas, and at the time they had one of the largest used car inventory turnover rates in the USA (circa 2016).
