Yeah, I saw that screw also and it almost looks like it has a slot for a screw driver, but I've got nothing that would fit. I still can't anything to grab hold of on the first 'screw'.

Have a wonderful Holiday!

Hey guys,
With a lot of dedicated support from Keith, I finally got the lid installed by fabricating a pin ("Damper Bolt") using a 1/4" irrigation hose and a screw on each end. So far it works, but I noticed yesterday that the light in the glovebox is backwards. By that I mean it is ON with the lid is closed and OFF when it's open. Any suggestions for a fix other than taking the box out again and looking for a frayed or crossed wire?

If you guys are interested, I found the 'switch' for the glovebox light. I've attached a picture and it's on the right side of the box. The pin marked as "3" was missing, but fortunately those "Banger Pins" fit perfectly. I can now R&R the box in about an hour.
