Spotted a 1992 Coral Red 968 Coupe

Spotted this 1992 968 Coral Red Metallic yesterday. It has been well used and enjoyed by its owner from the looks of it. Unfortunately has not been well maintained as far as its Exterior Paint. Car had 108k miles on it. According to Jeff it is a one of one out of the 6 Coral Red Coupes that hit our shores.
It sports a Light Grey / Classic Grey combo interior with some black accents in it which were a Black Steering Wheel and Black Center Console and some Black Accents on the Door Cards.
,It came out of the factory wearing Full Cloth Light Grey Script Seats in it. Unfortunately those seats are no longer in it, looks like they were swapped with or recovered with Leather Seats.First picture I posted is one of a Coral Red Coupe that is in the registry and shows how faded the paint is on this one.
Overall the body was in great shape with no dings or dents or scratches, however the paint on the roof was completely faded down to the primer in spots. Front bumper did look like it had been repainted some time ago. Dash Pad had some minimal cracks.
This would be a great one to restore to its former glory. We left our calling card on it to see if the owner would consider selling it. Will keep you all informed if we hear back from him.
I loved the 944 Turbo that was parked next to it and posted some pics for extra eye ****.

Hmm, sounds like it has had some changes in addition to the loss of its full cloth script seats. See the attached photo of a correct light grey/classic grey interior. Note the steering wheel and console color which is what it should be. (This photo car had factory deviated carpet to classic grey) None the less, a rare sighting and a great color on the 968. I hope the new owner gets her looking great again.

John, you sure about that black steering wheel? Maybe it was a wrap?
Rich, I think you sold it to Dan? He has a residence in NY and FL. I saw him and the car at the WERKs reunion at Amelia Island back in March. This car was his FL 968.

Here is the listing of when Rich sold his car. I like how it now only has 1k more miles than the previous sale. Same as the mint green coupe. Has anyone ever heard of a thing called odometer fraud?!

Here is what the seats used to look like (minus the piping).
The coral car is the only North American full cloth light grey/classic grey 968 produced of the full 4,242.
I think I read that this material has been reproduced but I'm not sure if you can get it in light grey. It is awesome.
