which wheels?
#17
Craig, I wanted to stay stock in size-also, my car is lowered and I didn't want to run any risk of rubbing. BTW, I made mention that I'd be using bigger brakes in the future-turns out Kinesis needs to know this on 17"s as they have to use a different center for clearance issues. I'd have been poed to find out I couldn't go Big Blacks with 17" wheels, they fit inside stock Porsche wheels.

I do not know id they will clear. But I am sure a call to Kinesis and we will know. My friend had them on his 993 before I started to use them. But I do not think he had Big reds on at that time... Give me a call on Monday.

What offset did you choose with your new wheels Damian? The factory 7.5" front wheels are ET65, which looks too "sunk in" for my tastes.
Thanks for the info on the wheels weights. I didn't know Kinesis were so heavy, relatively speaking.

Don't know the offset, I just made sure they would clear big blacks or big reds. The Kinesis are lighter than the stock Cup 2 17"s wheels, which I had on my coupe. So that's a weight saving, although slight.
