Default 300+ Mile Weekend, Co-Pilot Impressions

We spent a lot of time on a road trip this weekend to see the fall colors, and about 30 miles into the trip I needed a nap and my wife took over. She never got out of the driver's seat! Our road-tip took us along the Mississippi on both sides of the MN/WI border.

I was really impressed how comfy it was for the co-pilot (me first time) even with the Koni Sports!

In stock form, a 968 is an absolute gem on the highway. You can do miles after miles.

I had a similar experience in July when the Mrs and I went to Classic Le Mans in France and through the Ardennes and Eifel region on the way home, making a stop at the Nürburgring for a couple of laps before continuing. Into the Ardennes the wife took over the wheel for the first time and I only got back in the drivers seat for the Nürburgring laps. She loved driving the 968 and I loved sitting in the passenger seat sipping coffee and looking at her working the steering wheel and gear lever with a concentrated look on her face..

Such a great car both for fast committed driving as well as long distance road trip.. :-)

Indeed, I have the luck to live close to the Ardennes and the Eifel region, the 968 is indeed a blast to drive on those twisty roads. Will need to do that a few more times before winter comes...
