Jay, that intake from Hayward looks very cool. Will you use a larger than stock 968 throttle body....and how do you know what size to pick ?

Well, it wasn't a very scientific approach John.
I decided to stick with roughly the same size as the 944 Turbo (2-3/8" internal diameter) . I took this approach with the reasoning that the intercooler ports are the same ID and didn't want to create an impairment tot he flowpath. Knowing that the 8V turbos have chosen to increase the TB diameter, I pretty much reasoned that since the 16V heads have more surface area for flow thru the Intake valves, this approach will hopefully prove to be manageable for a car that will see street/highway driving only with a plan to limit boost to 1.5bar.
That, and usually about $2.50 can get you a cup of plain black coffee at Starbucks.

Three Wheelin'
Hayward makes a very nice product indeed Greta choice going with his stuff, better fuel injector geometry is appealing too, and the only place to get black coffee is at the fuel station….
