Anyone know the skinny on this 1992 Coupe?--on Facebook Marketplace--California MD

. I think the color is Amethyst (?) and the paint/clearcoat is failing badly:

Oops--I've even read about this one before--on Rennlist:

Color is Midnight Blue, that's what it looks like with the clear coat peeling off (I have one looking the same).

Based on the Facebook marketplace pictures, appears to be Amazon Green to me. Of course, you can always contact seller and have them read paint code and options off the sticker in the hatch area.

yes thats about right. Our dollar is pretty weak right now. Sucks for buying parts + freight.

That minty looks like a Japanese import and a sunroof delete.

Very cool! I wonder how much it would cost to import to CA and get it smogged?

Seriously though, I love chocolate mint ice cream, which reminds me of the exterior color, and peppermint patties, which reminds me of the interior color, light grey and black. I may have to go to the store before I press the "Post Quick Reply" button.

The car looks to be in really nice condition with only about 37k miles....How much would that car sell for here?

No sunroof, no cruise control, no airbag dash, no bumperettes....Love It Simple. I think it may be better to import me to NZ than bring the car here....looks beautiful!

That car was featured in a 968 register newsletter last year.

Is that light grey or a slightly darker shade interior. The trip trans would hold the value down, I'd say it would go for $36k ish USD here.

Aventurine, Amazon, or Emerald Green are all nice, Signal Green is extra nice. Wimbledon Green and Oak Green (a bit more "piney" than Aventurine, which seems to contain a faint hint of silver) are very nice, if for a bit more eclectic tastes.
There's an Amazon Green 968 now available in Oklahoma City with low miles--not on Craigslist or Ebay (yet). The engine is in great shape. The body is fine, but the paint needs a re-spray.
It has (probably) about $15~20k of new parts & cool, upgrade stuff available ready to go on the car---
or your car.
A lot of cool stuff, and wicked cool stuff.
i'm just a bit too busy (or lazy) to post the complete list. It is quite long.
There's some nice Lindsey Racing stuff in the collection.
i'll try to get it up on here in a few days.
