Thanks, those are some cool options. Prices did go up on all used cars. However I don't think 968s have went up percentage wise as much as the same generation 911s, and 968s are much more rare. For sure you'd see nice 968s listed for mid to high $teens a decade ago and now it's mid to high $20s.
You'll still see 944s/968s on most lists of cars that should appreciate the most. It's also funny how it's hard to find a low mileage 944, but there are plenty of 60-100k miles 968s out there (seems to me that more of them have triptronic transmissions). It also almost seems to me that the unique paint cars are more likely to have lower mileage, but also triptronic transmissions.

My brother's Spyder has the seats but a PDK. The MOST uncomfortable seats I have ever put my *** in!!!
I know where the car was sold from, and at time of sale, it did have original seats, which were 4-way power with seat heating and the original steering wheel. Previous owner had installed Billy Boat exhaust. Despite what is claimed, car was not an M030, had 16 inch factory wheels, etc. Paint seems to have been done reasonably well, as at some point in its past had been repainted from original amethyst to black. True mileage is greater than 148k, as odometer gears had lost their teeth. If found (unless redone), original seats needed new leather.
I wonder if this is the same car that was at a used dealer in Redondo Beach back in 2009? I had gone and looked at it then and the paint was beat to hell, interior not in great shape either. It was the first 968 I looked at and I passed on it.
Thanks for the links dlearl, I probably would not have noticed the 964 headlight conversion, but I bet any buyer would and would likely hate that.
I guess I need to consider listing my 968 on Hemmings.
Never been a fan of slope noses, but they have a following. What makes this one special is that it’s one of 39 factory built special turbos.
I’m sorry I forgot the link. It was from a Gizmodo or Petrolicious article about an auction of a collection of around 20 cars, all of them Alpine white. Everything from early 911S to a 918.
