Thanks, those are some cool options. Prices did go up on all used cars. However I don't think 968s have went up percentage wise as much as the same generation 911s, and 968s are much more rare. For sure you'd see nice 968s listed for mid to high $teens a decade ago and now it's mid to high $20s.

You'll still see 944s/968s on most lists of cars that should appreciate the most. It's also funny how it's hard to find a low mileage 944, but there are plenty of 60-100k miles 968s out there (seems to me that more of them have triptronic transmissions). It also almost seems to me that the unique paint cars are more likely to have lower mileage, but also triptronic transmissions.

Cleanest I've seen in a while. 94, White on Black, 030 220 and sport seats.

Nice clean car Eric’s shop does great work cleaning these cars up. It’s amazing $3k extra money spent back then at the dealer netted you $10k+ premium now for these rare M030 optioned cars with LSD

I'm a former 944 S2 owner and I thought I'd pass this 6-sp manual 968 coupe ad along to anyone on the hunt: https://autoconnectionseast.com/345310/1992-Porsche-968

Looks to be a good car from the photos and Carfax, claimed single-owner from new. Amazon Green Metallic is a pretty rare color, too.

No connection to the seller, etc... was just perusing the local Seattle Craigslist and an ad for the car popped up.

Thats' a nice car. Based on price - I'd guess buyer is looking for 30ish. If a buyer gets that or a bit less, I'd call it very well bought.

From the “learn something new every day” dept: Auction for what is described as a 1/39 964 Turbo Flachbau. I’ve seen those headlights somewhere before. If only I could put my finger on it.

In the 987.2 Spyder world, spending $0 and keeping the then-standard GT2 folding carbon buckets and manual transmission now net you $20-25k above a Spyder without both.

My brother's Spyder has the seats but a PDK. The MOST uncomfortable seats I have ever put my *** in!!!

Thanks for the links dlearl, I probably would not have noticed the 964 headlight conversion, but I bet any buyer would and would likely hate that.

I guess I need to consider listing my 968 on Hemmings.

True mileage is greater than 148k, as odometer gears had lost their teeth. If found (unless redone), original seats needed new leather.
I wonder if this is the same car that was at a used dealer in Redondo Beach back in 2009? I had gone and looked at it then and the paint was beat to hell, interior not in great shape either. It was the first 968 I looked at and I passed on it.

Never been a fan of slope noses, but they have a following. What makes this one special is that it’s one of 39 factory built special turbos.

I’m sorry I forgot the link. It was from a Gizmodo or Petrolicious article about an auction of a collection of around 20 cars, all of them Alpine white. Everything from early 911S to a 918.

Nice GPW/Cashmere ‘92 with a questionable history on PCar Market. Might go cheap. Looks like a nice DD.

Weird, this one just magically ended up in my garage one morning....
