Time to clutch the project.
Anyone know if the 993tt flywheel will fit the 968 (with 968 bellhousing)?
Anyone have any success with SMF? Brand?
Pressure plate recommendations?
Clutch recommendations?
I'm looking for a streetable, vibration free, reliable setup that can handle 450 ft. lbs. of torque?
Please, no speculation. Thanks!

I have a setup that was successfully used on a 550rwhp 16 valve 968 turbo. All of it, flywheel, pressure plate, disk etc. I think some of the components are SPEC. Let know if that helps.
Also, what kind of engine management will you be using? It would determine what your options are. Do you need a 60-2 trigger on the flywheel?

993tt flywheel will not fit, the fidenza or spec is an alternative, pressure plate you can use 993tt, gt2, they pretty much they all fit. Not a lot of choice with the disc, getting a stock one resurfaced(upgraded) is what I did, though I know heritage have a disc.

Thingo, what do you know about the different pressure plates? Any suggested part numbers?

I used this one,

I wanted something strong, as you can see they are the same across a lot of different models. This one was just a bit heavier than stock if I remember, but perfectly streetable to me.
