Pretty good deal here. Keep in mind that this is the "newer" style bar that Porsche contracted H&R to make when the original supply ran out. It's actually a tad smaller than 30mm which doesn't really affect much other than the main bar bushing needs to be a bit smaller as well. The main bar bushing to go with this bar is 951.343.794.03. All the other bushings and the circlip for the end of the bar are the same as the earlier version.

Jason, how did you determine this was the 2nd gen bar? Did you enlarge the photo and read the .31 part number off the sticker?

Re: the diameter of this bar, what does it actually measure? 29mm? 28.5mm?

if it turns out there's no resolution on my MIA front bar,

then I would must surely like to take one of these.... (i should know within a couple of days).

however I'm not sure you can make an M030 front bar work with a Weltmeister rear bar for the street.

I also wonder if the quieter M030 front bar should have been my first choice all along,

and if I should just eat the thousand dollar loss (the cost of starting over) as another lesson learned...

or just leave the Welt bar out the back and do absolutely nothing up front.

I see the H&R logo screened in white. I want to say they're 29mm but I'll measure in the morning when i get to work.

Jason, did you ever get a chance to mic the re-issued 968 M030 front bar? 28 mm? 28.5 mm?

Yes sir, 28.5. All the bushings remain the same except the main bar bushing which is obviously down sized:

interested if you’ve got 1 available
