Recently I sent out a batch of fasteners to be re-zinced. Because I had several old ash trays in my parts bin, I tossed a few into the process. Attached is a picture. Not the OEM coating, but better than the rusted parts I sent off. If anyone is interested in replacing a corroded tray, send me a PM. These are not for sale, my interest would be to help out a few 968 RL folks who might be interested.

Not to steal Gene's thunder, because he does do great work, but these units are still available new from Porsche and are actually reasonable priced.

I could use one too, Gene...mine is an eyesore even though the car has never been smoked in. I can offer mine in trade if you're planning on sending more out.
