Apparently the late model 944 door panels fit on a 968?
But I also understand from my weekend reading that the 944 panels are not as welll made as the 968, true?

968 door panels are fancier with more styling to them. There are a few full leather 968s out there that have full leather door panels.

Where there ever aftermarket panels made for the 944/968? I found a set of panels from a 944 turbo, to replace my old 968 ones since I am remove the 10 speaker cards.
Car is my track car but I want to keep it some what decent looking, even if it is not all original.
One of the original 968 panels is only held together by glue and vinyl since water got in and broke down the pressed cardboard that makes the panel.
The other driver's panel has the drooping by the window slit syndrome, i assume form people putting their arm there over the years.
