Default Will these wheels fit?

Tried searching but its very confusing and I'm trying to figure out if these wheels will fit:

Front:
205/50 R17
Wheel dimensions: 7.5 J x 17 H2, ET 23

Rear
255/40 R17
Wheel dimensions: 9J x 17 H2, Et 15

Thanks!

What wheels are they?

Given those specs, there is a 99% chance they are also made in 968 fitment.

Porsche made no wheels in that size. The wheels you looked at are either Mille Miglia or Borbet replicas of Porsche wheels, or a 3-piece custom wheel.

I'm wondering as well, what wheels are they?

They sound like they're for a 911 SC (or 930).

The wheels will fit but you'll have to run some fender flares.

with 17" wheels. there's not much of a selection of tires.

i'd go 18" as the selection is huge and the ride should still be ok.

That's not quite right, especially on the rear. I have no problem and actually the offset is much improved using 6mm spacer on 18x9 ET52 with 275/35 tires. I've also tried 8mm spacer before resulting in ET44 which happens to be the offset of OZ Allegerita so I'm gonna pick up a pair of those for the rear soon.

For the front, 18x7.5 ET50 fits fine with 225 or 235 tires. You only start to have a problem with 245/40 tires if suspension is too low. I think 18x7.5 ET45 or 18x8 ET50 with 225 section tire would fill out the front very nicely.

I would go with the Cup II wheels or the turbo twists that came off the C2 911's....I have the OEM Cup II wheels on my 968, they look fantastic, and the turbo twists on the 951. Both sets are light and strong.

951:

This page outlines all the weights on the wheels....go with light 17" wheels, makes all the difference in handling!
